To figure out what type of website you are thinking of having built you must first ask yourself what the purpose of this site is. There are, in general, three to choose from; you're purpose could be to say "This is our company, call us", it could be to say "This is our company, this is what we sell, call us if you're interested", or it can say "This is our company, here is what we sell, would you like to buy it now?". These three forms we call the Advertisement, the Catalog, and the E-Commerce site.

The Advertisement is the most basic site possible to build containing very few "features" as it's whole purpose is to simply inform who the company is and how to contact them, with limited other statements to support. Thise type of website has a base price of $500.

The Catalog contains a database that shows all the inventory desired to be shown on the site. In some cases this can be a gallery for more abstract sites, or for very specific sites it can be almost exactly a catalog. The major difference between it and the advertisement is the large amount of product it can display due to the database contained within it. This type of website has a base price of $1000.

The E-Commerce is the most advanced form of webpage. What determines if a page is e-commerce is very simple; if it moves(sells) items, or services, and if it accepts payment, it is considered an e-commerce site. This is the most complicated form of site, because while from the initial glance very much like the catalog, it requires a secure connection with an SSL certificate, a gateway or shopping cart to accept forms of online payment, and often a certain level of encoding in the database itself to secure any sensitive information. This type of website has a base price of $1500.

Feel free to play around with the various options and combinations found below, as it will not charge you anything and is here for two purposes: First, to make selecting the correct site as far as price and operation, for your business or person; and second, to demonstrate the complexity that my control panels on the inside of a site work, despite being very user friendly. If you would like an idea of how the admin portion of one of my sites works, imagine each field you fill in is a category description, price, or name for any item in the database, that is displayed identically to the category itself (to demonstrate what it will look like after uploaded). As easy as it is to fill out this form, is how easy it is for a user to alter the database on the site. So now that I've introduced you to the system, have fun with it; experiment, and with any luck, you'll find something that meets both your pricing and operational needs.
